![]() If you do not know the technique I'm referring to, get the book "superpower your memory" or just google. The drawback of this technique is that you need to have an entry point to be able to remember what happened before or afterwards, which may force you to iterate through a lot of moves (see a big part of the movie) to remember small details. See the image of the card that was drawn, and assosiate it to the next. Should you wish to remember sequences of opponent moves or card draws, then make a visual "film" of it. Please be warned that this method takes a bit of practice to get down. If you wish to be able to "look up" which cards draw number has been used, then you could use a 30- "peg" system. What method you should use depends on what you want to remember the most. Yes, you can use Hearthstone Deck Tracker at home if you want to, but would that be allowed in a tournament? I think not. This post relates to a serious discussion of a major strategic aspect of the game that I don't believe has ever been discussed before on this subreddit. I'd also like to be able to remember other things about the individual cards, such as: how often they've looked at a card, whether they've started to target a minion with a card, which cards are from Ysera/thoughtsteal/etc, etc.)ĮDIT: Not sure why this is getting downvoted. (For clarity, I'm not necessarily just looking to remember how long they've held onto cards - that's just one facet of what I'd like to improve. Does anyone have any specific tricks to share that they've had good success with, or would you just recommend toughing it out and learning to remember everything the "brute force" way? But, then again, maybe this just means I need more practice :-). I used to just try to watch their hand and remember everything directly, without using any fancy mental tricks, but found this to be really difficult and unreliable. (This tends to fall apart when they have too many cards in hand, but perhaps this is inevitable no matter what system I try and adopt.) ![]() I've recently started playing with techniques where I mentally assign each card a number based on what turn my opponent drew the card, which helps me spot cards that they've been holding for a long time. I hope you enjoy testing out these addons. What kind of techniques do you use to keep track of cards in your opponent's hand? ![]()
